As much as I try to avoid business trips, they are a necessity of running a brand. Making connections and seeing who is selling and buying your product face to face is key to being successful in this industry. This business is largely based on relationships as much as the product itself. My sales manager Brian and I made a trip up to Seattle, Washington this past weekend to set up shop, meet managers and talk business with the other brands at an industry meet-and-greet. The community is made up of like-minded individuals all doing their best to share their unique vision with consumers. If you are interested in breaking into the industry and making some connections then be sure that everything you do comes from the heart because we are a passionate dedicated group! Put a face to what you are doing, get out there and meet some people!
