NIKE HUF QUAKE I designed the Nike Quake clothing and sneaker pack to commemorate San Francisco's 100 year anniversary of the 1906 Earthquake, a tragedy that changed the city's history. Custom crack patterns, smoke damaged leather, and distinctive logo treatments appear on the shoes, apparel pieces, skateboards and the Nike pop-up retail store. Upon their release, all 500 pairs immediately sold out in less than 2 days. Even today, the sneakers remain one of the most sought after articles of street wear clothing, selling for several hundred dollars on eBay and online stores.
