I have been dropping sneak peaks of current projects lately on my Twitter account. Here is a look at some of the New Era samples that I am working on for the next couple of years - damn. I have a desk full of these things. If you are not following me on Twitter then you might be missing out. Twitter is great place to show glimpses of projects and other things as they are getting developed.

Rebel8 For Benny Gold Preview

Mike Giant recently had an art show in Paris alongside Dalek. You can check out the show here. Giant exhibited a piece that he drew up for an upcoming collaboration we have been working on together with Rebel8. This is only the tip of how amazing this going to be. I really want this drawing to be hanging in my house — i'm calling dibs!

Store Updated with Spring / Summer

It took me a minute, but my online shop is finally updated with the new line! Exclusively to site is a black and orange colorway of the Paper Plane Icon shirt limited to a run of 50. There are really limited sizes and numbers of the Striped New Eras to match. Orders are already pouring in and I haven't even posted that the site is updated.. hmm.

Livestock Canada

For the first time the line is now available in Canada! After countless e-mails asking why I have no Canadian retailers I am pleased to add Livestock to the stockist (which is updated)! Livestock is Canada's premier boutique with 3 retail locations in Vancouver and Toronto. Please stop by their stores and let them know you are as happy as I am for them to carry it.

Long time supporter Krudmart in Buffalo, Ny just sent out their newsletter, featuring my newest drop. The letter reads: "The pinch hitter in our lineup, Benny Gold is back with the new shit for Spring/Summer '09. The obvious standout here is the Logo Stripe New Era but the whole line is pretty killer. Limited numbers like always so step lively like a zombie on opposite day." haha.. awesome, thanks guys!

Special Online Exclusive

I am busy packing up orders and cleaning out my online shop to make room for the new line. Everything should be up end of this week.. hopefully. There will also be a run of the logo shirt in a black orange colorway to match the stripped New Era that is in stores now. This shirt is printed in a limited run of 50 and will only be available on my site. I'll let you know when I get the new inventory stocked in the store.

Bay Area Gold Dealers

I have 4 stores in the Bay Area that hold me down. Fatlace in San Francisco, 510 across the bridge in Berkeley, Atlas in San Mateo and our down south brothers Purist Boutique in San Jose. With every season I make sure they get their full orders which gets hard because I don't produce enough fitteds to cover the demand. Happy Birthday Levi

Sunday we had a birthday party in the park for my lil buddy Levi. He dressed up for the occasion and all his friends came out. It was hot in San Francisco and I am still sun tired from the day. Thanks to Jason for the pics. I am glad someone brought a camera. More of the birthday party here.

Legacy / Become Fitted in Hermosa Beach

Legacy / Become Fitted in Hermosa Beach, CA got their shipment in of the new line. It looks like we messed up and sent them the internet only colorway (black with orange print) of the logo shirt. The shirt is for my online store store only and limited to 50 pieces. If you live close to Legacy then our mistake is your gain. If not wait till next week when the online store get's updated.

Hall Of Fame LA

Premier hat boutique Hall of Fame in LA has recently updated their site. I am honored to have my stuff available in their shop. The owners are great guys and they might have the best hat store in the world.

A visit from Dante Ross

Dante Ross stopped over my office yesterday to catch up. I laced him with some gear (including me last sample doughboy fitted) and we grabbed some lunch. Dante is a straight up dude. I really respect his hustle and everything he has accomplished. Dude aint done yet.. you can expect some big things from him. Big ups homie.

I try to keep my brand close to my friends as much as possible. Lucky Lefty's in Sacramento California stocks Mash, DQM, In4mation and Leilow. All these brands are close family and friends, so when Lucky Lefty's hit me up about carrying the brand I was excited. Stop by to let them know you are also.

KINGDOM in Stockton

Kingdom holds me down straight up. They are a great store in Stockton California owned and run by really nice people. They just got my new line in and made this great window display for the release. WOW!

Mash New Zealand Tour Shirt

Some of you know that Mash was currently in New Zealand. They asked me to design the tour shirt for the trip like the one I created for the the texas adventure. The fern leaf is the universal symbol for NZ. I used the same shapes from the shield to create the fern leaves and substituted it for the lighting bolt. The stars and colors come from the New Zealand flag. Have a great trip guys! I wish i could have made it on this trip also.

BG Summer 09 Collection

Here is the first drop of Summer 09. This seasons collaboration is with San Francisco fixed gear movie / brand Mash. I have been helping Mash since the beginning with their branding, but "Gold Sprints" is our first official collaboration. I am really excited about it!

The "We Buy Gold" shirt is a high quality b&w photo print of NYC pawn shops. The gold in the photos are printed as metallic highlights. My long time friend and NY Times contributer Michael Simon supplied all the photographs for the shirt.

The logo stripes New Era is a follow up to the success of the paper plane pinstripe cap a couple seasons back. It is available in 3 color ways and the details are really nice in person.

Paper Plane Skate Wax

Here is a preview of something I am really excited about it. Skateboard wax in the shape of my signature paper airplane. These are going to be fun to wax ledges with! Expect a late summer release in assorted colors. Now go out and enjoy the skate day!

Special Delivery

The mailman dropped off a few really nice packages for me today at my office. The nice people at Gravis, The Hundreds and Johnny Cupcakes hooked me up with some promo gear. Thanks so much! If you are curious why these 3 brands hooked me up, it's because I have projects in the works with all 3 of them. More on those projects later.. promise.

Home Stretch

It's important to support small brands especially with the economy the way it is. There are no loans or banks behind the line. Everything that is put into getting our product out is backed out of our pocket and time. It takes a lot. Here is a picture of my wife packing the striped summer fitteds in our apartment. It's a family operation and we appreciate the support!

Ballin' Shopping Guide for Summer

It seems like the interest is growing for the summer fitteds and shirts. I have been answering e-mails asking when they drop all week. Most of it is shipped and on it's way. Samurai Highlight

As the new Summer line starts to make it's way to the shops the last of the press coverage is coming in from Japan. Samurai Magazine was nice enough to highlight some of the product in their latest issue. I really liked those camp hats. I need to make some more again - all my friends took my personal stock.
